(3ish stars) Needed some soup bad while I was in the area. Ordered up a bowl of the regular chicken soup (they also have chicken lemon with rice), a grilled cheese, fries, Sprite, and vanilla milkshake for the kid in tow. No complaints about the food or service, but more so the overall cleanliness. Joint has some nice tile/decorative appointments and 3 TVs way up high. Beaded glass flowers on wall could use some deep wet wiping and then regular dusting upkeep. Tile floor was sticky all the way to the bathroom. My particular table could have been wiped down better, and from the looks of the rest in the sunlight, it was not the exception. The TV that was off by me could have used a wipe down too. Considering there were 2 servers in addition to the cook during the super slow time I was there (Weds around 4.30pmish) & only another table was occupied by customers, SOMEbody could've been working a little harder on the whole cleaning part. Open trash can in the bathroom was almost to the rim too. These kinds of things make you think twice about what could possibly be going in the non-open kitchen area. Total meal was $13 and change before tip. Reasonable. Bonus that Eddie's is open 24/7.

Good food, friendly staff and it's a nice twist on your usual coney atmosphere.

Grungy, dirty, the cheapest of everything. Did not meet any expectations whatsoever! So disappointing, for a quick breakfast. Just wouldn't bother again.

Mmmmm....a Coney Island detour to squash the hunger pains after an unexpected visit to this side of town. A co-worker told me how she loves the lemon rice soup here, and seeing that my boyfriend was flu-ish to say the very least, soup sounded like a good meal option for him. This brand new Coney Island sits right in front of Meijer and is open 24 hours. Get your shopping and coney fix all in one go (and at 3 in the morning)! The actual restaurant is huge, has plenty of comfy booths and of course, the humongo TVs blaring 24/7 junk. Service was quick. We were quickly approached, had our order taken and food was delivered fairly fast. However, the waitress took a super long time to check back on us after the food was delivered...so no drink refill for me until I was completely done with my meal. Co-worker was right. The soup was super good. The rest of the meal was a big fat meh. Boyfriend said his chili on the coney dog tasted funny. I ordered a chicken greek salad, minus the tomatoes. My salad came out with tomatoes but without the beets (and I actually love the beets). Whatev....I ate it anyway. Except for the soup, its typical Coney Island fare. Sadly, food here didn't love me too much (boo to the sore stomach I had the rest of the night). So will I be back? Probably not thanks to the belly ache, the weird chili flavor and spotty service....instead I'll Coney it up at one of the other bazillion Coney Islands around these parts.

I like this place because it's a friendly place away from home. Eddie is wonderful! If your food comes out the way you didn't want it, it will be redone again without any complaints, unlike other Coney Islands. I usually go to Eddies anywhere around 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the morning. There are hardly any places around West Bloomfield that are open 24 hours.

First Off I have no idea what is wrong with with anyone else who visited Eddies. Every time I go there the service is fast, the food delish, the atmosphere is quiet, the prices are cheap. Perhaps its because I only go there in the morning. Every time I've visited has been during the AM usually between 7:30am to 9:00am. I always have had good service whether I sat down and ate or got orders to go. My only problem is sometimes its a minor annoyance is being nickled & dimed for add ons or substitutions. If a breakfast comes with cheese, I would usually ask for Cheddar and they charge extra. If an item comes with Sausage, I prefer patties instead of links, and for some reason the 2 patties cost more than 4 links. And I prefer Pita bread and sometimes I'd rather have Pita instead of Toast and they charge extra. People may not realize that at Eddies because its open 24/7 you can order anything on the menu at anytime... Breakfast for Dinner or Lunch for Breakfast, whichever you want. Usually in the AM, the cook is Mario who is pretty good, but he's not as good as Eddie. I'm biased I guess. Hey to each their own. Everyone has their favorite place for Salads or Coneys or Burgers.... And Eddies is my favorite place for Breakfast.

I read the reviews from Eddie's and wanted to try it for myself. Being that I recently moved down a couple of blocks and had a craving for some pancakes late last night I decided to give it a try...So here goes...one star was based on it being open 24 hours. The next star came from (and I know this sounds weird) but the floor tiles were so appropriate for a busy restaurant and really gave it a clean feeling...the third and fourth star came from the fast and friendly service...we were in, seated and eating within 15/20 minutes... one concern is the amount of paper on the floor which was a bit much but in defense of the nice waitress last night it seemed to only be her at the time working the floor...and the restroom toilet could be a lot cleaner... Now the big question is would I return...absolutely!!! I would avoid the table with excessive paper and use the restroom before I arrive... The food was great and the service excellent!!! This is what keeps customers coming back!!! Eddie you have a new fan...

Pros: +Good Portions +24 Hours +Affordable Cons: -Lack of consistency -Sanitation -Food Quality -WiFi -Customer Service I've been going to Eddie's since it was a Leo's on 12 mile and Halsted Rd. back in the day. I love this place because usually the food is good and the prices are low, and more importantly it is one of the only 24 hour places open in the area. However the service & lack of food safety is what is making it a last choice option. Please refrigerate your ranch bottles that are left sitting on the tables for hours. Also from what I understand the chicken breast for salad is made in large batches and reheated per order, this needs to change it tastes horrible. The Eddie's on Halsted is run much better. Where do I begin with the service! Every single person in the waitstaff I've had so far, in the long amount of time I've been to this place, has a complaint and attitude or a sob story etc. I don't want to know how I was your only table this hour or how you've made only $12 in tips this whole shift, or how you're breaking into the rap game. Refills on drinks are usually slow unless you walk to the counter and ask or get the bill. I've had 3 separate instances in which the waitstaff, twice by the same waitress, have left and could be clearly seen walking over to Meijer. I understand if this is due to being dangerously low on an ingredient, but this should be a matter of management and not a waitstaff who has tables. Lastly the bathrooms are destroyed, no other way to explain this, and their is always the strong scent of cigarettes wafting from the back room next to them.

I prefer hash browns bacon eggs and toast. Everything was awful. How do you ruin toast? The service was okay and. It wasn't too pricey.

This place is average. We received very good service but it was very dirty inside. Heidi ordered French toast with blueberries with bacon as the side. The blueberries were NOT fresh and the bacon was satisfactory. Milan ordered the western omelette which has no cheese within the omelette. He also received hashbrowns and wheat toast as his sides. The omelette was very filling and he couldn't finish the rest of his meal. This is an average cheap place but is open late.

Saddened that rap legend, B-Koop, doesn't work here anymore. But it is a great place to go if you're hungry and it's 3 in the morning.

I had to ASK for a coffee refill (that i never even received). Never before have i had to ask for more coffee at a coney. Go to mcdonalds instead. This coney is awful.

Eddie's Coney island is awesome. It open 24/7 for all those late night breakfast cravings. Or if you're craving a Coney. Or a gyro. Really clean restaurant. Eddie is really nice and loves his job, he makes that very clear with how friendly and personable he is. The food comes out looking amazing and so delicious. And the food is not as greasy as most Coney islands (even though that's like the best part).

Typical Coney Island, they serve their hotdogs cut in the middle so they fill the dog and bun with more chili and toppings. This was my first time here, I thought the food was fine and came out pretty fast. They were out of coke, but not a big deal. I was ok with this place, my GF however said it looked too dirty and she thought her food was average.

Foods pretty good but service ... Not so much. Have to ask for things several times, staff is usually grumpy. It's too bad because you need both in order to have a good dining experience.

I'm here way too often. Love the place. Quick easy and cheap. The waitstaff are super sweet and funny. The best part is they are 24/7. It's a nice place to go after a long day and just want some comfort food that won't burn a hole in your pocket.

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Gave this place 2 tries and both times were a horrendous experience. First time I ordered delivery from this place, we paid for the food, and they only delivered HALF of it, when we called to speak to a manager, the employee was extremely rude saying "well what do you want me to do about it, our driver went home" and refused to let me to speak to a manager because "he's busy doing paperwork". I demanded he call me back the next day, he never did and Eddie's Coney Island simply pocketed the money for food they never delivered. I've never dealt with such rude employees in my entire life!!!! Second time I thought I'd give them one last chance. Ordered a greek salad and found a piece of PLASTIC in my food. Not to mention the vegetables were old and wilting. Absolutely gross. Go somewhere else. This place is not worth your time or money!!!!!

I can sum up my recent visit to Eddie's in one word: Meh. Thought I would try it since I had shopping to do at the Meijer across the parking lot and based on the reviews here. I was just going to have breakfast- can't mess that up too much, right? I ordered an omelette with spinach, feta, tomato and onion, hash browns and rye toast. Service was fast and friendly. And the food was overflowing the plate. But my first bite gave me pause. The hashbrowns tasted of cheap oil. They seemed as though they had been cooked well in advance and then tossed on the grille to warm up.They tasted... well... stale! Blech. The omelette, while sizeable, was dry and bland. The egg "wrapper" was definitely overcooked. I was really hungry so I drowned both in catsup and hot sauce and choked down about half of it. I did take it home, but tossed the potatoes in the trash. The eggs, with more catsup and some Cholula sauce, made an ok snack. With SO many GOOD places to eat breakfast in the area, I wouldn't bother again, unless it's 3 am and I am starving, since the best part seems to be that Eddie's is open 24 hrs.

I've been eating Eddie's food (under the Leo's umbrella) since I was a kid and am thrilled he's finally had the opportunity to branch out on his own. The service is quick and precise and the food is a great value (a whole breakfast special for under $4? Are you kidding me?). I highly recommend a grilled cheese pita, the chili cheese fries, or the good ol' fashioned coney dog. Eddie's is as good as it gets.

I am writing this review with the hope that it is the same owner of the Eddie's in Farmington Hills at Halstead and Grand River. Some of the worst service EVER, it can actually be pretty entertaining. However! What kept me coming back 2 times a week? The absolute best chicken greek salad I have ever had. They put basically a whole chickens worth of juicy, marinated meat on the salad and the greek dressing is awesome. Usually, I am not one to complain of being full or unable to finish their salad, but a small salad at Eddies can feed a small village.

HUGE portions. I've only had breakfast, a hearty veggie omelet and the biggest serving of hash browns I've ever seen. Coffee is standard for a family diner, not for coffee aficionados.

Food's pretty good. Service is pretty bad. Had to ask a few times for a water refill and food wasn't brought out all together, instead piece by piece.

I'm changing my nickname to Coney Boy. This is the third review in a row for a coney island restaurant. I wish this one was closer to my house because I really enjoyed it. As much or more than American or Lafayette. It has all the ingredients. Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Even though the chili tastes exactly like all the rest it was slightly more "runny" which equates into smoother flowing down the throat. Most brick bought chili seems to thicken up and turn to paste smeared in with mustard. Try the chili cheese fries, nice and runny.

Ordered a greek salad to go with chicken. The lettuce was old and wilted. The chicken was definitely pre cooked cause it was so dry it was a little crunchy. How hard is it to make a greek salad and serve it with fresh lettuce and chicken???
